A safety test and inspection is completed on all portable appliances by a qualified engineer (C&G 2377) to ensure that they are safe for use and meet with the legislative requirements of the:

Gas Safety Test and Inspection
A safety check and inspection on the installation & maintenance on the gas burning appliances of Natural & LPG gas to ensure that they are safe for use and meet with the legislative requirements of the:
Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998

Emergency Lighting Test and Inspection
A test and inspection of the Emergency Lighting Units in accordance with the requirements of British Standard 5266 1 – 2005 & 10 – 2008 to ensure the full operation all of the components in the system including switches, batteries, luminaries etc and that it meets with the legislative requirements of the:

Fire Alarm Test, Service and Inspection

Fire Risk Assessments
In accordance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 it is a legal requirement to have a risk assessment completed and reviewed regularly. Failure to have an adequate Risk Assessment could leave you open to prosecution and invalidate your insurance cover.
